William Morris was killed as the result of the motor vehicle collision on May 11, 2018, with Defendant, Daniel H. Jessop, in Arcadia, Hamilton County, Indiana. Mr. Jessop failed to stop for a stop sign and pulled into the path of William Morris’ vehicle. Defendant driver stated his foot “must have slipped” to the accelerator instead of the brake. Mr. Morris’ cause of death was cited as blunt force trauma to chest and abdomen. Mr. Morris’ stepson, a minor, was a passenger in the vehicle and sustained personal injuries, in addition to witnessing his stepfather’s death.
