At the time of the collision, our client was 18 years old, an Indiana resident and student at Savannah College of Art and Design. She was a passenger on a Praggio Vespa S50 scooter that was traveling southbound on Whitaker Street in Savannah, Georgia. She was wearing a helmet at the time of the impact. A motor vehicle driver was westbound on 34th Street and pulled into the path of the scooter, which had the right of way at this intersection.
