Tabor Law Firm has longstanding experience representing injured officers and their families in personal injury and wrongful death matters. We are proud to have partnered with families of fallen officers to create scholarship funds so children of officers have an opportunity to achieve their academic goals. We have also worked with the ISA to establish a program meant to protect injured officers and their families.
Officer Injury Program
In 2012, the Indiana Sheriff’s Association and Tabor Law Firm partnered to form the Officer Injury Program. Discussed and approved by the ISA Board of Directors, the program was established with the intent of helping ISA members, as well as their families, friends, and loved ones. The program involved the creation of a quick-reference wallet card, instructing officers to contact Tabor Law Firm in the event of an injury or death, regardless of whether the incident occurred while an officer was in the line of duty or off duty. This card was then distributed to each ISA member and, as staffing changes occur, Tabor Law Firm provides new cards as needed. We can also provide additional cards for family members and loved ones.
