You snooze you lose- sleep deprived is no way to driveSnooze behind the wheel, and you could lose not only your license, but your life. Driving while fatigued is one of the lead causes of accidents across the country. Drowsy driving causes as many as 1.2 million collisions on average a year, which result in up to 8,000 fatalities. Drowsy driving can also be caused by sleep disorders, medications, commercial (truck) drivers, or working the late shift.

Indianapolis hit-and-run could result in wrongful death lawsuit

Indianapolis hit-and-run could result in wrongful death lawsuitWhen people lose a beloved family member, usually the last thing on their minds is money. In the aftermath of such a tragic loss, many individuals find themselves too incapacitated by grief to think clearly, and unable to work or immediately return to their lives as before; additionally, there is always the added financial burden of things like funeral costs and medical expenses. This is at least in part because trucks can weigh up to 30 times more than the average passenger vehicle. This in turn means that the driver and passengers of any smaller vehicles involved in Indiana truck accidents are, sadly, more likely to perish or be severely injured.
