Slip and Fall, Personal Injury

Our client's personal injury claim involves a needless and preventable fall that occurred on January 13, 2012 at Defendant's Family Dollar retail store in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to the accident, water had accumulated in the aisles of the store. While shopping, our client slipped and fell in water and suffered severe injuries.

Immediately after she fell, ambulance personnel arrived to find her lying on the ground with severe left hip pain. X-rays revealed a comminuted fracture of the left hip and Judith had to undergo surgery and have hardware inserted into her body.

We obtained a settlement in the amount of $200,000.00 from Family Dollar Stores to compensate our client for the injuries she sustained in her fall based on the conduct of Family Dollar.
