Multiple collisions in a matter of seconds results in a complicated legal battle between insurance companies

Car Accident, Personal Injury

A driver traveling the wrong direction on northbound US41 struck our client, and her vehicle became disabled in the middle of the road. As a result of the accident, our client was injured, and the driver who was traveling the wrong way was killed. A few moments after the first collision, our client's vehicle was struck yet again by a vehicle on northbound US41. This second collision resulted in extensive damage to another part of our clients' vehicle, and our client sustained additional injuries from the second collision as well.

When collisions occur within seconds of each other, battling with insurance companies becomes even more complicated, requiring experienced attorneys. In this case, the insurance companies tried to characterize the above events as one collision, because that would limit the amount of money insurance had to pay.

The experienced attorneys at Tabor Law Firm were able to convince the insurance companies that there were in fact two separate collisions- without having to go to court. Tabor Law Firm was able to obtain the entire six-figure policy limit from the wrong way driver. Additionally, our client was compensated by both the insurance company of the second driver, as well as her own insurance.
